The Department of Florida,” KWVA,” is the state level office serving as the center for the organization, guidance, assistance and intercommunication of the local Chapters. The governing body of the department is the “Council,” which consists of the elected officers (President, three (3) Vice Presidents, Secretary, and Treasurer), the appointed officers, and the presidents of the Department’s Chapters. The Department is funded by the Chapters for budgeted expenses. ANNUAL STATE CONVENTION An annual State Convention and Reunion is normally hosted by a different Chapter each year. The 2010 Annual Convention will be May 7, 8 and 9 at the Courtyard by Marriott in Bradenton, FL. Hosted by the Manasota Chapter 199.
